CAF deadline looms for Bucs

Orlando Pirates are racing against time in trying to finalise deals for new players

Orlando Pirates are racing against time in trying to finalise deals for new players they hope will be part of the list they submit to the Confederation of African Football on Tuesday.

Bucs coach Roger De Sa confirmed over the weekend that he is looking for four new players; a centre-back, an attacking midfielder, a winger and a striker, to add to his squad that will be submitted to CAF for the 2013 African Champions League.

The centre-back in question could come in the form of Maritzburg United defender Mohammed Awal, while the likes of Rainford Kalaba and William Mootsana are reportedly on the club’s radar too.

Pirates will kick-off their Champions League campaign against Club Djabal from Comoros, in the preliminary round. The first leg will be played in South Africa on February 16 or 17 with the return leg on March 2 or 3.

Then is was Recreativo De Lobolo , the only club in Angola that consists of from army (soldiers),cleaners and fishermen , they only play soccer on weekends after their duties. They don't really have training sessions becuase of their commitments .

Its high time this losers stop commenting on CL because they know nothing about CL. They keep saying we will be eliminated in the first round, do I need to remind them that they got eliminated in the 1st round of Mtn8 and Telkom knockout? So that u know zebras, only Champions participate in CL not losers. So you losers just relax and let us Champs do what we do, make history.

Saying pierats will win the CAF is the same as to say the deadliest striker Ndumiso 'RVP' Mabena can score in one on one situation with the keeper, and we all know that's impossible he won't score.
