Orlando Pirates are racing against time in trying to finalise deals for new players they hope will be part of the list they submit to the Confederation of African Football on Tuesday.
Bucs coach Roger De Sa confirmed over the weekend that he is looking for four new players; a centre-back, an attacking midfielder, a winger and a striker, to add to his squad that will be submitted to CAF for the 2013 African Champions League.
The centre-back in question could come in the form of Maritzburg United defender Mohammed Awal, while the likes of Rainford Kalaba and William Mootsana are reportedly on the club’s radar too.
Pirates will kick-off their Champions League campaign against Club Djabal from Comoros, in the preliminary round. The first leg will be played in South Africa on February 16 or 17 with the return leg on March 2 or 3.
