Former Moroka Swallows striker Phumelele Bhengu is back in the top-flight after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal with Chippa United.
A fine finisher poised for better things – even likened to Benni McCarthy – when he broke through at Swallows four years ago, Bhengu told KickOff.com in September that he still wants to play up-front, despite having also recently played at right-back.
“Ace has signed for two years and half,” his representatives Complete Footballers confirm.
The deal ends a frustrating spell on the sidelines for the former Under-23 international.

Phumelele was sidelined long before Gordon took over at Swallows !
