Free State Stars have released five players

Free State Stars have released five players including Zimbabwean attacker Taonga Dondo and Liberian striker Herron Berrian following the acquisition of Ethiopian striker Fikru Tefera whose signing was revealed by KickOff.com on Tuesday.

Also released is the trio of Benjamin van Heerden, Clement Mokgope and Luyanda Hlongwa.

Hlongwa is already trying out his luck at AmaZulu.

Ironically all the five players released by Stars only joined the club six months ago but have struggled to fit in.

I see you acted fast after my comment above - You must employ journalist who know something about SA diski? But then again SA dont know much about diski if Bafana is anything to go by.

kickoff editor should stop sleeping on duty, he is always behind with reporting...problem with him is that he spend too much time reading other websites for news so that he can copy and paste instead of going out there searching for stories...

So this is a gorilla coach assisted by Roger Dli Sa earmarked to replace GI... hehehehe.. but their coach failed to beat Botswana in his first attempt.. Dli Sa as bafana coach Myeni is captain, phungwayo his deputy, the ranking wud be 207, below Etrea and Afghanistan!

And what does that tell you about their scouts( Stars) and not to mention the people who saw it fit to offer the above mentioned players contracts if they were not good enough.
