Thanda sign former Pirates midfielder

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Talatou Boubacar Djibo has been signed by Thanda Royal Zulu

Posted: 7 January 2013 Time: 6:14 pm

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Talatou Boubacar Djibo has been signed by National First Division side Thanda Royal Zulu.

Boubacar was offloaded at Pirates last season after being deemed surplus requirement and returned back home to Niger.

The 25-year old has been selected for the Niger provincial squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Thanda coach Mlungisi 'Professor' Ngubane confirms the signing of Boubacar and is hoping that he will be available for selection as soon as the League campaign resumes in February.

"Yes its true he has signed for us but management are the right people to speak to about his contract." says Ngubane.
