French club Valenciennes have made an offer for Bafana Bafana midfielder May Mahlangu

KickOff.com can confirm that French club Valenciennes have made an offer for Bafana Bafana midfielder May Mahlangu.

The 23-year-old, currently in camp with Bafana Bafana ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, has been hot property since his breakthrough season for Swedish outfit Helsingborgs last year, when he was named the league’s best player.

It is thought that Dutch club Heerenveen are also interested and preparing to make a bid, but Valenciennes, currently sixth in Ligue 1, have made the first move.

Mahlangu recently signed with agent Rob Moore of Extra Time.

@Maminzela hahahahahaha

Nyawana failed those trials at that lower division league when he was 27. Mahlangu is only 23 and he is received an offer to play in a top league without going through trials. But you will see... That Terblanche will play that failure Nyawana ahead of this rising star Mahlangu. Favoritism at its best
