Leopards, Palmer part way
When KickOff.com contacted Leopards midfielder Raymond Monama, he expressed ignorance about the elevation of Makhubela, who was Palmer's assistant, to the position of caretaker coach.
"What new caretaker coach are you talking about? I am not aware of all this because I am currently on holiday.
"We will only be told of any change to the structures next week when we return for training," says Monama.

Meanwhile Black Leopards chairman David Thidiela tells KickOff.com the club will take its time before deciding on a new substantive coach.
"We are in no rush at all to appoint a new coach," says Thidiela.
"There is a caretaker coach and we will make an announcement as and when the situation has changed," adds the Leopards boss.
In the club's last League match of 2012, Makhubela was in charge when Leopards drew 1-1 with Bloemfontein Celtic on December 19.
This was after Palmer had been suspended on charges of bringing the club into disrepute.
