Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says there is no room for complacency when his side faces Chippa United in their League match at Athlone Stadium tonight.
This follows Downs' back-to-back wins against Black Leopards and Bidvest Wits to move them up to 10th on the log.
But the former Bafana Bafana head coach fears his players will now think they ‘have arrived' and that could be their downfall against the Premiership rookies.
"We are looking forward to the next game against Chippa. It's not going to be an easy game because you know what happens with players," he says.
"Complacency comes in or we think that we ‘have arrived'. We haven't arrived, we have only won two games and drawn one so we have a long way to go. We need to stay focused," he adds.
Mosimane also warned his charges not to take Chippa for granted as they are also desperate for points to move away from the relegation zone.
"They need points, they are desperate and are dangerous. We are desperate to move up but Chippa need it more than us now," he says.
The coach is also pleased that his charges are beginning to understand his footballing philosophy.
"We will move up the log slowly. Slowly is the way we need to play and the movement is coming in. The shape is also coming in, it hasn't clicked yet.
"I've had seven training sessions and look how the players respond. The day it becomes better, we will talk other stuff. We should not get too excited and be emotional.
“We need to move one step at a time, if we do that we will slowly move up the log," he adds.
