Maritzburg United will look to bounce back from three successive Premiership defeats when they host University of Pretoria at Harry Gwala Stadium tonight.

Maritzburg, who lost just one of their first 12 League matches, were beaten 2-1 at home by Orlando Pirates at the weekend to complete a hat-trick of defeats.

The KwaZulu-Natal side will be looking to improve on a home record which has seen them claim just two victories from eight matches. The Team of Choice are placed fifth on the log with 23 points from 15 matches.

University of Pretoria played to a fourth draw from their last six League matches when they held leaders Kaizer Chiefs 1-1 on the weekend.

The Pretoria side has claimed 15 points in away matches this season, suffering just one defeat in eight matches on the road. AmaTuks are placed sixth on the log with 22 points from 15 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Maritzburg and Tuks have had just one previous League meeting.

The sides met in the first round earlier this season and played to a 1-1 draw in a home fixture for the Pretoria side.

Kick-off at 19h30.
