Ex-Enugu Rangers attacker Chikeluba Ofoedu came off the bench to inspire 1461 Trabzon the victory over Samsunspor in the Turkish first division.
The talismanic forward came on in the 71st minute for Yusuf Erdogan with team trailing the visitors, after Hakan Arslan had put Samsunspor ahead in the 51st minute.
The 20-year-old needed only four minutes to wrap up the game as he scored the equaliser in the 78th minute, before scoring again in the 82nd minute to ensure 1461 Trabzon took maximum points in the game.
Ofoedu who was the star of Rangers' campeign last season has now scored four goals in 10 starts for promotion chasing 1461 Trabzon, who are now placed second, level on points with table topping Kayseri Erciyesspor.
