Lekgothoane signs new Swallows deal

Moroka Swallows defender Shere Lekgothoane has signed a new contract.

Moroka Swallows defender Shere Lekgothoane has signed a new two-year contract.

Lekgothoane's new contract has been confirmed by his representatives at Pro Sport International.

“Shere has extended his stay with Swallows for another two years. It is a done deal following successful negotiations,” confirms Lekgothoane's representative Alban Newman.

The 33 year-old arrived at Swallows during the 2010/11 season signing a deal that ran up to the end of that season before then taking up another year's extension with an option.

However, the former Mamelodi Sundowns man has now agreed to yet another new extension with The Dube Birds.

Swallows recently signed two other left backs Lizo Mjempu and Giulio Giuricich as cover to Lekgothoane who had been the only left back at the club since the departure of James Mayinga

This low salary is killing the team cos we seem to sign what we don't need. Mr Prins, Mr Macques has proved himself to us that he is not good for the job, your patience is getting to our nerves, there is no way that man will perform miracles, he won top8 cos it was last season form not him

We conceded last minutes goals against Amazulu, Amatuks, Zebras, Sundowns, Chippa, Maritzburg because he does not know how play when he is leading, lossing and drawing, Mr Lekgothwane is weakest link at the defence

He doesn't deserve it cause he has done nothing....another fruitless expenditure by swallows...
