Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen says they do not have any time to bask in the Cup glory

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen says his team do not have any time to bask in the glory of their Telkom Knockout Cup triumph.

Celtic take on SuperSport United in the League on Tuesday night and Larsen has urged his team to try and remain focused despite their Cup elation after beating mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

"We can't rest on our laurels now and start slumping in the League. Celebrations will be put on hold until our last game before the mid-season break," Larsen says.

"It is business as usual, it's a difficult period now, where the guys have to remain focused for the remaining games which is not an easy task," he adds.

Larsen wants his team to try and replicate the form they showed in Cup action in the League.

"A lot of our players have experienced this hype and euphoria for the first time in their careers so now it’s up to myself and the technical team to keep them focussed, especially the youngsters, so that we finish the remaining four League games just as well as we did in the Cup," he adds.

Hai ke Larsen, you're pushing it now baba! Not as long as Pirates is still in existence. In case you didn't know, Pirates has set a mandate to win ALL PSL sanctioned trophies right up until 2037 when we celebrate our centenary year. So where does Celtic's \"Cup Form\" fit in lapho? Please don't get ahead of yourself after thanks to the Mighty Bucs made you develop one-hit wonder brut force to enable you to win a cup and now you think you can rain dance your way to more cup victories. Hehehehehehe. Talk about a \"Joke of the Year Nominee.\"

But I admire your confidence. It just bears more testimony that beating Pirates is blessing of guarantees to win Cups.

Clint, boy is you HIGH? Laurels? Laurels you said? Do you know what \"LAURELS\" means? Heh!!!! How can you win one cup after 20 years and claim that to be \"laurels?\" This coach is not very clever neh?

Let me teach you something about Laurels. Laurels is about winning or being awarded on merit; not dubious goals and unfair-play! Laurels is continued success overtime; much like Pirates. So what LAURELS are you reffering to, unless you're mistaking 'laurels' for L'Oreal make-up products!
