Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung is expected to appear before the Nelspruit Regional Magistrate’s Court today where the trial date for a case of fraud against him and three other accused will be announced.

The Chiefs boss was arrested in August this year over alleged tender irregularities related to the construction of the R1billion Mbombela Stadium ahead of the 2010 World Cup.

Motaung was later released on R50 000 bail together with co-accused Herbert Theledi and Chris Grib.

Former Mbombela municipal manager Jacob Dladla and Tebogo Khubeka – a former technical manager for Ehlanzeni District Municipality – also stand accused of being involved in the alleged scandal.

Magistrate Naomi Engelbrecht is today expected set the date of the trial after state prosecutors asked the case to be postponed so that all those accused can appear in court at the same time.

Funny how people all of a sudden can distinguish between personal/private matters and football matters but they keep throwing Khoza's personal matters on the blog,this to me is pure gullibility.It is okay when you do it but you can't handle it when its done to you,Bobby will always be associated with Kaizer Chiefs because first and foremost,he is the son of Kaizer (Chiefs),he is employed by Chiefs, he is family and Chiefs is a family business despite Chiefs supporters trying to convice themselves otherwise.
