Orlando Pirates came out on top to beat Moroka Swallows 3-2 in a friendly at Rand Stadium on Friday afternoon.
With the League on a short break this weekend for the Telkom Knockout Cup Final, the two sides took the opportunity to give all their players a go.
And it was Pirates who emerged as winner, with Tlou Segolela’s brace and another from Collins Mbesuma cancelling out goals from Mpho Maleka and Rocha.
Benni McCarthy, still working his way back from a hamstring injury sustained on national team duty, started the match as he looks to prove his fitness ahead of the Soweto Derby.
