Orlando Pirates lead second Q-Innovation table

Posted: 22 November 2012 Time: 11:03

With four matches to go in the second Q-Innovation quarter, Orlando Pirates are top of the Q2 log, ahead of Kaizer Chiefs.

After last night's matches many Amakhosi fans were mistakenly under the impression their team was top, however Bucs are above them on goal-difference.

Of course Chiefs are on top of the Premiership table as a whole; with 27 points they lead Pirates by four.

The PSL announced Q-Innovation in August; a mini-league which divides the season into four. The team on top of the log at the end of each quarter will receive R1.5-million, over and above the R10-million for the overall winner.

Q1 had eight fixtures; Q2 will be seven; Q3 eight and Q4 seven.

Chiefs won the first quarter of Q-Innovation at the beginning of November, when they topped the log ahead of University of Pretoria in second and Pirates in third.

As the Q2 table stands, the Bucanneers are top, tied on nine points with Amakhosi, with both teams registering three wins out of three.

Both teams have also scored eight goals apiece, however Chiefs have conceded three while Pirates have conceded just one.

Q2 table so far:

wow atleast rodents are leading at something, cause on the psl log they have been brushing majoro's ballz since the season started

But we are not in a charitable mood, and unfortunately the game on the 8th will still be in Q2, so khosi will clean up once again.

reclaiming the glory from fake champions, they know themselves...

Please father God give the Tortoises an ability to read and understand these two lines "After last night's matches many Amakhosi "Tortoise" fans were mistakenly under the impression their team was top, however Bucs are above them on goal-difference."

The military of the collonel would rather discuss in-house challenges than this Q innovation.

we want to see Sox in the starting 11, on derby day Mbuyane n McCarthy know how to do the job.

Chiefs wnt deal with the pace of Myeni,Klate,Sox n Manyisa with the root one football they are playing at the moment.

YEYE is suspended this week, they will be exposed in that middlefield.

Please stop irritating us with this Q- Innovation nonsense. The DTC are not interested. We are number two on the log and AmaKhosi are on TOP. We will take our umbrella at the right time.

We really don't care about this Qs coz they are the drought relief programmes brought by Khoza to cater for Chiefs which is in the 8th year without leauge success.

Ours is the PSL and Champions league titles.
