SuperSport United have handed Ghanaian defender Ofosu Appiah a trial.

Appiah, who was on Jomo Cosmos' books last season, has joined former Orlando Pirates defender Njabulo Ntusi, who started training with United last week.

Coach Gavin Hunt confirms that the former Asante Kotoko defender was training with them.

United, who are still nursing their wounds after losing against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout semi-final, travel to KwaZulu-Natal to face Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium tomorrow.
