Uche inspires Villarreal to victory

Ikechukwu scored in both halves of the game to extend Villarreal's lead after Manu had given the former UEFA Champions League regulars the lead.

Spanish midfielder Trigueros 'Manu' Manuel gave the visitors a 33rd minute lead, before Ike Uche doubled the advantage six minutes later.

With Villarreal sitting pretty, Ikechukwu put the game to bed in the 53rd minute with his second goal of the game, and fifth in seven starts (12 appearances) for Villarreal this season.

Villarreal are now placed fourth and are just three points off table topping Elche, who have a game in hand.
