Two goals in three minutes ensured Efe Ambrose and his Glasgow Celtic teammates got a win against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League.

Celtic climbed back to the top of the Scottish Premier League after defeating their hosts Aberdeen FC 2-0 courtesy of second half goals from Lassad Nouioui and Charlie Mulgrew.

Nouioui came off the bench to put Celtic in the lead after poking home a rebound from Victor Wanyama's audacious 30 yard strike which came off the post into his path.

Mulgrew increased Celtic's lead three minutes later when a shot from Giorgios Samaras was blocked and fell to his path.

Efe Ambrose featured for the entire duration of the game and nearly got on the scoresheet with a header that forced a good save from Aberdeen's goalie, Langfield. But since Efe was adjudged to be offside at the time, Wanyama's follow-up effort was ruled out.

Celtic will face Benfica later in the week, in the UEFA Champions League.
