Igesund responds to Katongo

Bafana coach Gordon Igesund reacts to comments made by Zambia captain Christopher Katongo

Posted: 12 November 2012 Time: 3:29 pm

Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund has reacted to comments made by Zambia captain Christopher Katongo after the latter said on Sunday that Bafana are under pressure to win the Nelson Mandela Challenge clash on Wednesday.

Bafana clash against Chipolopolo at FNB Stadium and Katongo feels Bafana players have a lot to prove to Igesund prior to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and therefore, the Zambians, with a settled team, are in no way under pressure to win the encounter.

Igesund reacts: "Well, there is no pressure on Bafana to win a friendly match… The pressure is on Bafana to get to the semi-finals and win the Africa Cup of Nations.

"We are doing the preparation right now, so there is no pressure on the players. They have to go out there and perform. They are professionals and they will do their job, that's the bottom line," Igesund contends.

Nonetheless, Igesund insists Bafana will go for a win.

"Yes we want to win and do well and I think we will. We are in a better situation now than we were on our trip to Poland and Kenya. We will be getting better all the time. Chris Katongo can't say we are under pressure to win the game," Igesund adds.

Now Christopher Colombus is fighting with Christopher Katongo for nothing. Does he have to go around reacting to what everyone is saying. He should react to Chris comments on the field not with his wine stinking mouth, but since he knows that with the tortoise Nunens, Zambia are guaranteed a easy win he is openning his pie hole on the media.

Zambia --atleast 5 goals
Bafunny --atmost 0 goals

Chris Katongo continue " now that the little lion is not selected (J15) , BB is under severe pressure"

Only stupids will deny Chris true story. BB must perform not only in AFCON but also beating Afica's no.1 - even my gogo knows that.
All average players will be tested , I will be supporting Chris and the lads.

Let's be honest... Himmondi vs Parker (Himmondi wins), Kalaba vs Gaxa (Kalaba wins), Mayuka vs Nunez (Mayuka wins), Chansa vs Shabba (Chansa wins as usual) I fear the Nelson Mandela foundation will demand a discontinuation of use of Nelson Mandela name for this cup, Zambia will embarass Bafunny BaJiver... watch the space... no one-legged player will beat Chipolopolo... Shabba will finish 90 minutes without any cross from his retired right leg

Bafana Bafana will obviously be under pressure: we are hosting this game, we have the new coach who should prove himself: so Igesund, what you are saying is that there is no pressure: and then , where is the game?....all the home games (we know) that exert pressure on the hosts, that's common sense: wena Igesund if you want us have mercy on you, should you loose, say so then trying to be a psychologist: explaining Katongo's ways of thinking: this coach is too much:

January should quickly come coz we want to get rid of this racist.

He is wasting our tax payers' money on his white trips. He visited the English mvela teams for the early release of his white cows for the Afcons. Does this means those cows are guaranteed a place in the Afcons no matter their "Fit & Form," shit?

He went to England to pursuade a white bitch hornless cow Surman to play for us while the cow has shown on many instances that he has got nothing to do with the Africans.

He went to England to have coffee with Schillo with our tax money while we have black Chiefs brothers and sisters suffering to the extend of;

-selling ama complementary tickets.
-Nhleko claiming to be an agent knocking fellow brothers of their hard fought moolas.
-The kit manager's wife crying out loud for the dues owed to his husband.
-Innocent people killed for alarming that people are stealing.
-A player's mum raiding woolworths coz of poverty.

Our tax money is really wasted on the English mission while batho ba lamba e khaya.
