Irvin Khoza is staying on as PSL chairman after he was elected unopposed for a fifth term this afternoon at its quadrennial elections held at Gold Reef City.
A seven-member National Soccer League (NSL) Executive Committee also got the nod from the 31 Premier Soccer League and National First Division clubs that took part in the voting process. Vasco da Gama failed to come forward to cast their vote.
The seven members who will serve in the newly assembled Committee are Kaizer Motaung, Mike Mokoena, Daniel Simelane, John Comitis, Mato Madlala, Stanley Matthews and David Thidiela.
The 'Iron Duke' was delighted after he was elected unopposed.
"I appreciate the vote of confidence ... we must make sure this organisation remains strong and relevant in the market space," he says.

Well said Bucs, I for one, have things to show that I benefitted from this man. Love him or hate him he is one of the unsung heroes of South Africa. It shows that you can't keep the good man down. People will wait until he passes on then start praising him. Bucs since 1937
Not to pepper the celebratory moment Champs... during Chairmanship of LOC The Dream Team suffered & The Ghost was at the depth of despair... I'm concerned about the nomination of The Chairman for the president of SASCOC... this will further divide his attention...
it's only natural that all sporting federations have faith in our Chairman but I hope this won't be to the detriment of The Dream Team - as it is the domestic treble dream is gone...

We have a backlog in the disciplinary section of the PSL. Ur team has 8 pending cases of invading the pitch which you are sitting on, Y dont you finalise them? Talk of conflict of interest from this toothless col.

Khosi lami , 7 cases will be dismissed due to lack of evidence , and also the presence of Iron Duke during those disciplinary process. The other case will be found guilty and get a slap on the wrist e.g R25 000 fine . The verdict will be coming from Dr Irvin Sokhela, he'll be the chairman,an investigator, a defence team,a witness and also a victim as well....
