Im sure Julio (GOOD FUTEBALL) Leal will take the Coach of the Year while his team Gorillas take the Club of the year afta their SPLENDID perfomance in the in their quest for the second star in the CAF tournament.

On a serios note...........Does this means in SA theres no player who deserves even a nominee
? never mind winning the award,....not even the nominee?...........WHAT A SHAME.

Did SA even qualify for AFCON, How did Pie-rats do in the Champions league... Did SA U/23 qualify for the Olympics? If we say SA has the best players what are we basing our argument on. The fact that they have won nothing or hardly even qualify for anything doesn't make them the best mense it makes them the worse. BEE can apply here we are all black and from previously disadvantage some are still in disadvantage communities. We need to prove ourselves on the Pitch period, we could even beat Botswana with their amateur players and we wanna say we the best

Steven Pienaar was not even the best African playing in England. Let alone Europe. The man was injured half the time. The other half he was on the bech at Tottenham. Khosi4Life.

yhoo, not even one niminee from SA? agg this is bulldust. may mahlangu won de sweedish player of de year, atleast he should be in de top 30.

it also seems caf are only concerned about european based players. what about players based in local leagues?

but how can we expect nominees when rats embarass us in continental competitions?, getting loboloed in de pre-tournament stage... lets all hold hands and put our faith in Amakhosi doing much better in de 2014 african champs league..

@Somnandi, your comment is most unfortunate. I guess your assumption is that you are the only country who host foreign nationals, can I put it to you that there are probably more South Africans in zambia than there are zambians in South Africa. We live with them, we appreciate them, those who have somthing special to offer, we gladly appreciate what they bring. All these South African businesses have South Africans working here, Time to throw away that primitive mentality.

Appreciate other pipo for the good they give you and stop insulting others. Remember, other Africans have lived without South Africa before, but the same cannot be said about South Africa because they had to harvest support from everybody to be where they are now. YOUR COMMENT WAS PRIMITIVE, ESPECIALLY COMING ON A SITE THAT REPRESENT FOOTBALL, WHICH HAS PROVED TO BE A UNIFYING FORCE
