According to a statement, the PSL has appointed an internal security task team to look into the matter and come up with ways to deal with the fan misbehaviour.

"During today's meeting between the PSL and Mamelodi Sundowns, both parties agreed that there is a need to act swiftly in order to curb the behaviour of a faction of their supporters," the statement says.

"Sundowns have requested assistance from the PSL to bring the culprits to book. The club revealed that they intend pursuing criminal charges."

PSL acting CEO Ronnie Schloss says: "The recent scenes at our stadiums have been of great concern to us. We have put together an internal team that will investigate the disturbing scenes."

Mamelodi Sundowns senior legal manager Yogesh Singh adds: "We need to take steps to avoid a repeat of what happened this past weekend. It's not in the interest of Sundowns, the PSL, nor football at large."

Why do people make such a big fuss about these yellow unruly fans? Don't they have bigger criminals to persecute such as Mbombela stadium tender fraudsters, such as the murderers of Jimmy Mohlala, such a thieves who steal panties, bras, pyjamas, and dried fruit, such as CV cooks?! Haysuka!

I condemn stadia violence, but its a family issue, so long noses stay away, we did not nose into ur pitch invasions wth toilet seats, crakers, etc, when Tshwane giants trapped u 4-1 and 3-0 recently. D. C must deal wth u 1st then we'l follow suit. Psl shld also take the blame for failing to control 6 unruly hooligans.

Funny enough most of these incidents occur in soweto/jozi, i smell a filthy, stenchy, rotten rat.

To Anti Zebra, let the law its course boet and don't mention stupid comments like those you mentioned. Yes if those people from your statement are guilty then they will face the full might of the law. Sundowns criminals should be of no exception. Let me make you feel better then, since the inception of the PSL it hasn't only been your team that has had to be fined for fans misbehaving. We just need to work hand-in-hand curbing such behaviours broer instead of looking for excuses. Come on Boss...

Ababoshwe impela. It doesn't help to fine the teams coz it doesn't prevent supporters from doing wrong at the stadiums. They know teams afford to pay for their misconduct. Let them be arrested and the lesson should be sent to every supporter. ABABOSHWE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
