Match preview: Ajax Cape Town look to bounce back against University of Pretoria

Ajax Cape Town will hope to break their losing streak in the Premiership when they host University of Pretoria at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

The Urban Warriors suffered a second successive defeat in midweek when they went down 2-0 away to Orlando Pirates. Their only win of the season so far was the 4-1 home victory over Platinum Stars in late August

Ajax are 13th on the log with four points from five matches.

Meanwhile, University of Pretoria kept up their unbeaten record this season with a goalless draw at home to Platinum Stars at the weekend.

They have won both of their two away matches so far this season (against Golden Arrows and Moroka Swallows) and will be hoping to complete a hat-trick against Ajax.

AmaTuks are fifth on the log with nine points from five matches.

This will be the first competitive League meeting between Ajax Cape Town and University of Pretoria.

Ajax's line-up from their 2-0 loss to Pirates: Westerveld, Lebusa, Allie, Booth, Jenniker, Rusike (van Graan 67), Scott, Dolly (Manyama 46), van de Laak (Shabalala 78), Billiat, Grobler.

Tuks’ line-up from their 0-0 draw with Stars: Arubi, Mphahlele, Shoyisa, Sibande, Mkhwanazi (Monyai 47), Matsi, Maruping (Ngwenya 39), Mutizwa, Ngoma, Mosadi (Selolwane 83), Niang.

I mean really now, which team will to such a defense? Westerveld, Lebusa, Allie, Booth, Jenniker. It's actually a joke for Pirates to resort to shooting rather thandribbling these statues and walk into the net.

Yeh from now onwards everyone who meet the Champions will have to bounce back against his peers. We raiding everyone, guilty or innocent until all the panties are returned.

Let me tell you this one thing... Ajax are well organized and they will beat Tuks. It is unfortunate that they were playing The Double Treble Champions whose mission it is to bring back those stolen g-strings. We were too good for them and thus it appeared as if they are weak.

Pirates don't dominate for 30 minutes. We dominate for as long as the game is on, 90 minutes straight. Ajax CT had no chance. Sooorry

"resort to shooting rather thandribbling these statues and walk into the net".....KWaaaaaaakwaaaa..titititititit.....Holla Khosi......Booth was also used a striker at some point in the last 15 minutes of that game.
