Hunt disappointed at Benjani's disappearance

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt disappointed at Benjani Mwaruwari's disappearance

Posted: 27 September 2012 Time: 02:01 pm

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt says he is disappointed at the disappearance of former Manchester City striker Benjamin Mwaruwari from training.

Mwaruwari had been training with United with the intention of signing for them this season, however, it looks like the former Jomo Cosmos striker has had a change of heart.

After watching his team firing blanks in front of goal in the Tshwane Derby against Mamelodi Sundowns last night, Hunt conceded that he needed a player like 'Benjani' to lead his strike force.

"We needed a player of his calibre in the team," Hunt says. "We were still looking at him and were keen to bring him on board. However, he has disappeared and I am disappointed."

Mr Hunt your rantings are beginning to get on my nerves now...Benjani has no time for a small team to keep looking at him while he knows his worth and what he can bring to the table. He's no Takesure Chinyama nor some Talatou or Msowoya nor Otarugo, who were desperate for jobs and a certain entity in the PSL known for exploiting foreign workers took them on. If you want the man, PLEASE SIGN HIM and stop your childish behavior.

Hunt, you fool! Did you expect that boy to stay around being assessed like he is 18yrs. What you see is what you get. Do you think he would suddenly change from what he has always been even while at Man City. At his age? O ya phapha, that's why (he left)! Its not him that disapointed you, its the foolish tactics that you displayed agaisnt that struggling team (forgot what it's called).

As I contnue "Reclaiming the glory".

the light skinned guy and Mambush have a tendency to make players disappear...e.g. Mushekwi, Mwanjale (Hotel), P Ndlovu (airport), Cheeseboy, Teko (camp) and only to resurface at Chloorkop

Hunt is a moron. How much time did you need? it was disrespectful to keep him training like that. Its Benjani for f-sake. You have you to blame sir. You blew it. Benjani is a legend, you cant put him on trials at Supersport. I hope he signs for another PSL club and teach you football.
