Ajax Cape Town will be looking to break an away winless streak against Orlando Pirates tonight

Posted: 25 September 2012 Time: 11:50

Ajax Cape Town will be looking to break an away winless streak stretching back to 2008 when they face Orlando Pirates in a League clash tonight.

The Urban Warriors last tasted League success against the Buccaneers in December 2008, when Mabhuti Khenyeza scored the only goal of the game.

Ajax coach Maarten Stekelenberg says they are desperate to end that poor record, but the Dutchman knows it will be a tough ask against the treble champions, especially with new coach Roger de Sa in charge.

"I believe we'll see a different Pirates side [to the won that beat Platinum Stars 1-0]," Stekelenberg tells KickOff.com. "Roger has had more time to work with the team and they will be more organised in terms of the way he wants them to play.

"We will have to be on top of our game tonight if we want to come away with the three points, but I think we have the players and the game-plan to achieve our goal."

Ajax fans will have to wait a bit longer before seeing Brazilian youngster Wanderson in action; it was expected that his paper work would be finalised by now, but it seems he will only make his debut against University of Pretoria at the weekend.

Please Roger, because you like playing 4-5-1, this is the line-up: Josephs; Jele, Sangweni, Mahamutsa, Phungwayo; Okonkwo, Manyisa, Jali, Segolela, Klate; Ndulula. Let Okonkwo play in front of defendres as our anchor man, Jali and Manyisa play behind Ndulula to increase our creativity and also make use of wing play. I can then guarantee you, Ajax won't break our win record against them at Orlando. Make sure we use the pace at our hands, we have quick players, use their speed to our advantage. Having said I don't support a 4-5-1 formation but anyway you are the head coach.

We are coming to Orlando tonight, Please don't disappoint us. For now you have our full support Roger but I'm not sure with your decision to bring your friend Tinkler to this team. We have to wait and see but I see Teboho Moloi as a ball boy for you two.

Up The Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Early Ejaculators have become lose cannns on Kickoff one would swear they've already won the league. Be careful what you wish for it will come to you, they got off a very simple start of the season with lousy teams and are now singing praises of their average team, I see lots of tears on the Chimpanzees cheeks, as well as an early exist for the CV Chef.
