Ambrose Efe debuts in Scotland for Celtic

Posted: 23 September 2012 Time: 19:00

Ambrose Efe finally made his long-awaited debut for Scottish champions Celtic.

The Nigerian international defender came on as an 86-minute substitute for Scott Brown in Celtic's 2-0 win over Dundee United on Saturday in the Scottish Premier League.

Ambrose had to wait to make his debut for Celtic because of work permit problems, which were finally sorted out last week, affording him the opportunity to make the bench for his club's Champions League match against Benfica last wednesday.

Celtic defeated visiting Dundee United courtesy of goals from English striker Gary Hooper and Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama.

Ambrose, who turns 24 next month, joined Celtic from Israeli side FC Ashdod during the summer, and is hoping to break into the starting line-up and make an immediate impact at his new club.

Mr Article writer, dont you have an editor who proof-reads your article before it is being posted. Because the kind of grammar here irritates me, one of them is, "which were sorted out finally sorted out last week". I am even better than you without being to the university.
