Thomas Sweswe injury blow for Bidvest Wits ahead of Kaizer Chiefs match

Posted: 23 September 2012 Time: 13:43

Bidvest Wits defender Thomas Sweswe sustained deep cuts to his mouth after a collision with teammate Aaron Mokoena during a training session on Saturday.

The Zimbabwean defender, who had to be stitched up by the doctor, has been ruled out of action for at least two weeks.

This means he will not be part of the team that will play against his former club Kaizer Chiefs on Monday.

"I would have wanted to play [against Chiefs] but I have to rest to allow the healing process," Sweswe tells

"Injuries happen in football and you just have to be patient until you fully recover. I am confident that we will come out with a positive result," he adds.

Maybe is the reason why chiefs let you go,because of your silly injuries, but the fact remains you are better than svasiya or who ever he is there at chiefs.

U obviously don't have any analysis skills, Chiefs had a very good defensive record last season, it was the cows upfront who failed to score goals.... oh and by th way I'm sure u meant "cost" not "caused"
