This follows Safa's Appeals Board decision on the two complaints last week.
In the matter between Dynamos and Bay United, the PSL DC ruled (in July 2012) that Bay United fielded an unregistered player, Realeboga Bolly Matlou, and imposed a fine against Bay United.
Dynamos appealed against the sanction, arguing that points and goals attained in matches that the unregistered player was fielded should have been expunged.
The Safa Appeal Board upheld the appeal by Dynamos and ruled that the points and goals must be expunged.
In the matter between Dynamos and Carara Kicks, the PSL DC had ruled (in August 2012) that Carara Kicks fielded an improperly registered player, Thembile Taliwe, and that the points and goals attained in matches he was fielded must be expunged.
Carara Kicks lodged an appeal against the findings of the DC. The Safa Appeals Board dismissed the appeal and upheld the PSL DC's ruling.
The implication of these two decisions is that Carara Kicks lose 17 points and therefore finish the National First Division with 21 points, while Bay United lose five points, leaving them with a final tally of 30.
