The Dube Birds looked shaky during the 3-2 League defeat to University of Pretoria recently, with the height of Mame Niang in particular causing concerns.
And judging by SuperSport’s training session at Pretoria this morning, it seems coach Gavin Hunt will count on the lanky Nathan Paulse to do a similar job in Soweto this weekend.
“It’s an open secret that they are not so strong at the back,” former Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic striker Paulse tells KickOff.com.
“We have depth in the squad and whoever gets selected is expected to do job for the club. Hopefully we will bring back the trophy.”
Paulse says it will be a thrilling experience walking out at Orlando Stadium for the Final.
“It’s going to be an exciting occasion,” he says. “The last time I played in a cup final was when I was still at Ajax.”
Meanwhile, former AmaZulu goalkeeper Thembalethu Moses was spotted training with SuperSport this morning.
Also training with Matsatsantsa is former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Solomon Okpako, but the club has decided against signing ex-Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Abel Metsimetsi.

You can target swallows' weak defence but swallows will definitely break your solid defence to get a couple of goals past your strong goalkeeper................. I am a Bird and will surely be the last man standing. Up the Birds!!!!!
