Amajita coach Solly Luvhengo believes that his side will put up a great fight when they host Nigeria in the African Youth Championship qualifier set for Mbombela Stadium on Friday.
Luvhengo watched the national Under-20s beat First Division team Sivutsa Stars FC 2-1 in a friendly in Nelspruit on Tuesday, with Thabani Mthembu and Lorenzo Gordinho scoring for Amajita and Sivutsa's goal coming from Jerry Ndou.
Amajita have scored 10 goals in their last three matches, which Luvhengo says is giving them a lot of confidence going into the match against Nigeria.
"They [Sivutsa] gave us a very tough game," Luvhengo says. "They are a good and very organised team, they really gave us a very good practise match.
"I believe that we are on the right track and are almost there. There is a lot of positivity in the camp and with the right mental attitude I am confident that we will do well against Nigeria on Friday."
