Mourinho: I have no team

Jose Mourinho says Real Madrid players lack commitment

Posted: 17 September 2012 Time: 12:19 pm

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho questions his players’ commitment after another La Liga loss on Saturday left them languishing in 11th place.

Los Blancos lost 1-0 to Sevilla to leave them eight points behind perennial rivals Barcelona – and with a high-profile Champions League tie against Manchester City just two days away.

“We have only really played well in the Spanish Super Cup [where they beat Barcelona], nowhere else. I am worried that in this moment I don't have a team,” Mourinho said.

“There are very few heads who are committed and concentrated. When you don't have people who are committed, it's tough. But I am the coach, and if there are people who aren't committed it is my fault.”

He added: “For Sevilla, every ball was the last one in their life. They played with perfect aggression in everything. They wanted to play quickly, move the ball quickly. My team did it against Barcelona and haven't done it in any other game.”

You discarded Kaka, it's not to late to bring him back to the fold. The Ronald issue has disrupted the Madrid momentum .Its time to go back to the drawing board.

It is the hangover you get after facing Messi and his gang Jose; especially when you win the game. you walk away with effect that are critically suicidal. Give your players some time off or use the reserve team, the time for your senior one to recuperate. Barca is very very very dangerous my friend, i like seeing them play.
Strategise on your BTeam, that's the treatment against the Barca's syndrome otherwise, you will miss on this year totally.

Agree Goeddless. Murinho is good at squeezing a lot from the players. Last season was too demanding. Plus most of his players participated in the Euro. The kind of intensity takes a lot physically and mentally. To add salt to the wound Barca's reign seem a few years to end after lots of speculations after Gurdiola's departure.

So funny I couldn't even laugh, this Coach is really something else and I have never been a fan of this clown. You are running out of ideas now Mou, who is the coach?? I think it's the other way around, players have no coach..never in one match have the Real Madrid player played below par I have witnessed in every game they play they actually know what is at stake, if only you could SHUT your 'Mour-th' maybe results would come. #Messi Messi Messi

8 points is not too bad taking in consedaration its only 4 games in, 2 early to start thinkin of sacking the coach,

joe has done it b4 uplift the team spirit before the Man City game, everything will b at stake in that one, i see you being victorius just like u did with Barca,

but u right there is a problem in ur camp and yes there are players who are doing their bit, but the majority is not... problem problem problem, bt i think the kaka saga has a lot to do with it...

You are not alone Special One, here at home there is a team that cannot score a single goal in more than 300 minutes, but lives in denial. Remember when you lost to Barcelona 3-0 in the 2011/12 season? They too lost 3-0 to Kaizer Chiefs. They too have penchant for thinking they are special, like you but they play dung. But Special One...recently referees have seen thier plight and are contributing with the little they have. Google up one Zolile Mthetho.

Recycling is the only way to get your team committed....you gotta bite the bullet and fire some of your so-called big players, just like what Pep did when he took the barca job. Until such time you will still have the rotten egg which will always rot the whole busket. I feel even my Kaizer Chiefs are bound to suffer the same fate, Shaba and Reneilwe feel they own the positions in the team.

U didn't get voted coach of the decade for nothing Mr Mou... So instill the very same spirit u did to Chelsea,Inter&Porto...with whom u still hold records for trophies & never losing any league home games with.

At Madrid; I presume its the 52% tax increase issue & the impending wage increase most players will probably ask for that has the team lacking concentration; along with the Ronaldo saga which has also taken its toll on the team...a lot of them look up to him when the chips are down, despite his egocentric nature, he's undoubtedly one of the most pivotal players in yo team, but u have to look 4 a replacement at the moment, so that he can get time to get over himself & his issues...or u will also suffer in the champs league were Madrid is chasing 'La Decima' title!

get rid of CR7 or put the boy on bench, he's the weakest link in Real Madrid.
