Ajax Cape Town to sign Wanderson Costa Viana today

Ajax Cape Town are set to sign Wanderson Costa Viana today.

The Brazilian arrives in the Mother City and the Urban Warriors, who have reserved their fifth foreign spot for the player, are expecting to conclude the deal later today.

The 18-year-old signed for Olympiacos in 2007 and made his senior debut for the club in 2009. He impressed during his recent trial at Ajax, eliciting praise from coach Maarten Stekelenburg.

Ajax CEO George Comitis says: “Wanderson has a great first touch complemented with fantastic dribbling skills, agility and he can fit into our attacking style of play.The player arrives today and we are hoping to finish all the paperwork as soon as possible.”
