Manqana returns to Bucs training

Njabulo Manqana taken off Orlando Pirates' transfer list

Posted: 6 September 2012 Time: 01:44 pm

Orlando Pirates have decided against offloading midfielder Njabulo Manqana, who has since returned to training with the first team.

The former Golden Arrows man was transfer-listed along with the likes of Njabulo Ntusi, Dikgang Mabalane and Lizo Mjembu.

However, Bucs communication manager Mickey Modisane confirms that Manqana is off the transfer list and back at training with the rest of the players.

“His fitness levels are being assessed by the technical team as to when he is going to be available for selection,” Modisane tells KickOff.com.

Meanwhile, Mjembu has resurfaced at Moroka Swallows, while Mabalane is being linked with a move to SuperSport United after both players were handed their clearances on Friday.

@ Champ Myiro,

It looks like Njenje is history by these developments. He will either be replaced by a new coach or a cell phone on the bench with the help of us forcing him to do the changes on the stands.

This guy has a bad attitude and will never succeed at a big team like Pirates. Maybe at a small team like Kaizer Chiefs.

Return to the bench
I dont understand why a team would recall a player who has been put on a transfer list coz a player for a player to be put on a transfer list it means that he is not on the coach's plans.
