The Brazilians' 2–1 defeat at the hands of Maritzburg United in a League match agitated fans of the Chloorkop-based team, who are now calling for the head of the Dutch coach.
Some vocal fans have gone as far as calling upon Motsepe to replace Neeskens with former Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane.
However, Speaking to KickOff.com, Mamelodi Sundowns spokesperson Kabelo Mosito reveals that Neeskens will still be calling the shots when the club faces Golden Arrows during their next League match on September 15.
"He [Neeskens] remains the coach of the club," Mosito says.
"There will be no changes and the coach has the support of the management. Any speculations that the coach is going to be changed are baseless.
"This is the official position of the club," adds Mosito.
Neeskens – who before the start of the season said he would hand in his resignation if the team fails to win any silverware this season – is eager to end a barren spell that has seen Sundowns going for five years without winning any major competition.
Neeskens is the first Sundowns coach during Motsepe's era to stay at the helm despite going for a season without winning any silverware.

Leave Trot & Makhanya alone, they are doing a splendid job. They signed all the players you wanted, ensured that you win the Swaziland league, drove you to SD after an accident which cost Sywets his job, etc...
