Tafadzwa Rusike is staying at Ajax Cape Town

Posted: 3 September 2012 Time: 12:34 pm

Ajax Cape Town boss George Comitis has confirmed that midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike is staying at the Urban Warriors.

Rusike was on the wanted list of Belgium side Oud-Heverlee Leuven FC after doing well at trials there.

"Things didn't work out and the other thing is that we wanted to keep him because he is a good player," Comitis tells KickOff.com.

Comitis also confirmed that Brent Carelse has been sold to Chippa United outright.

Carelse has signed a two year deal with the Chilli Boys.

At every break, comments become abound about SA players being assessed to play overseas but nothing comes of it. I just wonder how players like Mushekwi, Rusike, Jali, Xulu, Masalesa etc, all are told they might go an play overseas, either by their agents, clubs or journos, and nothing happens! Devastating!
