Vasco da Gama have recalled midfielder Brian 'Macarena' Kgafane from the wilderness while also re-signing Ajax Cape Town youngster Sici Shelembe who arrives accompanied by former youth international goalkeeper Andre Petim.

Kgafane last played for Vasco when they were still in the Premiership but has now been brought back to the club to revive a career that once took him to Orlando Pirates.

Shelembe spent the last half of the past season at Vasco and Ajax have since allowed him to continue at Parow Park along with Petim who has been sent away after also spending part of last season on loan at Golden Arrows.

Vasco have also completed the signing of Gareth Ncaca and Morne Davids all of whom will bring some useful experience to the club.

Kenny Gertse, the Vasco manager confirms the arrival of all the new players that will link with fellow experienced players that are already at the club Zeka Karkee, Francois Adams and Roberto Do Espirito Santo.

Brian 'Macarena' Kgafane.....Football can be cruel.....when I see some overrated midfielders play I feel sorry for this player, he could have walked in to any of the big three starting eleven with his eyes closed during his days but made some bad decisions....I used to watch him play in Soweto with the likes Yeye and Teko what a player......

Speak for your team Chief, this COW wouldnt have made it at Bucs U15

Proffessianal soccer is not the same as street soccer, walk inyour team starting line up yeah.

Any Cow can walk in your first 11,not at Bucs....Galaxy is the name of a player's DNA at Bucs
