Jackson Mabokgwane completes Bidvest Wits move

Bidvest Wits have completed the signing of Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane on a permanent transfer.

Mabokgwane spent the past season on loan at Platinum Stars but has now moved on to Wits after finding no luck at Sundowns upon his return from the North West.

Wits coach Antonio Lopez Habas confirms that Mabokgwane has been signed on a permanent transfer from Sundowns.

"We have signed Mabokgwane but he is struggling with an injury at the moment that will take another 10 days for him to recover from," Habas tells KickOff.com.

Mabokgwane – who has been training with Wits for several days now – becomes the fourth keeper at the club, joining Emille Baron, Steven Hoffman and Ryan Harrison, with Energy Murambadoro and Eduan Naude no longer at the club.
