Masuku is yet to make an official debut for Pirates after signing from Black Leopards during the off-season.
The midfielder is part of the team camping in Polokwane ahead of the League game against SuperSport United at Peter Mokaba Stadium on tonight.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Masuku says he was waiting for coach Augusto Palacios to give him a chance to play for Bucs.
"So far so good and everything is fine for me at Pirates. I am working hard at training and now am only waiting for the coach to give me a chance to prove myself."
Meanwhile midfielder Onyekachi Okonkwo is expected to be in the squad for the Supersport match tonight.
Bucs communication manager Mickey Modisane says that striker Takesure Chinyama is still struggling to get his work permit.
"There are a few things left before Takesure's (Chinyama) papers are completed. Otherwise Tico (Onyekachi Okonkwo) is available for selection depending on the coach's decision," says Modisane.
