Safa could not immediately confirm the venue of the match.
"I will have to check with our calendar before coming back to you on that one," Safa's Director of Communications, Dominic Chimhavi, tells KickOff.com.
The friendly match will present a litmus test to Banyana, who failed to progress beyond the group stages of the recently held 2012 London Olympics.
Uzbekistan are ranked 41st on the latest Fifa table while Banyana are rated 56th.
Banyana coach Joseph Mkhonza has expressed an eagerness to try out new players in the aftermath of a fruitless Olympic campaign.
In their first ever Olympics, Banyana lost two games to Sweden (4-1) and Canada (3-0) before a 0-0 draw in their last match against Japan brought some credibility to their campaign.
