Both teams are billed to lock horns at Ilorin on Wednesday.
Heartland are expected to arrive at the venue today (Monday) after they failed to make the trip on Sunday, due to protests from their players over the non-payments of their entitlement for the season, which threatened to hamper their preparations.
The early arrival is supposed to help them acclimatise to the Ilorin environment before Wednesday’s encounter.
Prime FC on the other hand have been boosted by the support of Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, who has urged supporters of the Osun State club to come out en masse to cheer their team to victory over the defending champions.
In a statement released by the commissioner of Information, Mr Sunday Akere, the Governor lauded the achievement of the management Prime FC and congratulated them for leading an Osun State team to the semi-finals of the Federations Cup for the first time. He expressed the belief that the officiating of the match would be fair.
In the same vein, Taiwo Ogunjobi, the Chairman of the Osun State Football Association also expressed his faith in Prime FC, believing that they would break the Federation Cup jinx for Osun State, having knocked four Premier League clubs out of the competition.
