The management of the Nigeria Premier League have fixed a date for the conclusion of the League.
Despite the fact that the League has only one round of games remaining, an actual date for its conclusion has remained uncertain.
However, the NPL's head of competitions, Auwalu Jada, has disclosed to the media that the League will draw to a close on the 6 September, and that all outstanding games will be played on 23 August 2012.
The outstanding matches to be played on the above date are those involving Warri Wolves v Rising Stars, ABS FC v Sunshine, Stars and Sharks v Ocean Boys.
