Tsutsulupa: We will bounce back

Moroka Swallows captain Lefa Tsutsulupa says they are ready for Mamelodi Sundowns

Posted: 17 August 2012 Time: 01:13 pm

Moroka Swallows captain Lefa Tsutsulupa tells KickOff.com that the team is ready to redeem themselves against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

The Dube Birds started this season on a good note when they beat Amazulu 2-1 in the MTN8 quarterfinals, but then lost 3-1 to Platinum Stars in their first League match and Tsutsulupa says a meeting was held to address the poor defence.

"I think we were poor in defending set pieces against Platinum Stars because we conceded two goals from that and that's so unusual for us, because we always defend well. So we had a meeting and players are aware of the mistakes we committed against Stars," Tsutsulupa says.

Meanwhile, Swallows coach Zeca Marques shares the sentiments of his captain with regards to the loss to Platinum Stars.

"It must be collective responsibility because we defend as a team and obviously there were certain mistakes that shouldn't happen. Poor marking is unacceptable at any level so the one thing you can't allow is to be complacent in the goalmouth. A set piece is the most crucial in the game, because the players tend to relax so the opposition can capitalise.

"So we have addressed those situations," Marques adds.

The Dube Birds' defence will be put to the test when they clash against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-finals.

Mr Lollipop does not deserve to coach the Dube Birds...Swallows deserve a better coach....these players are coaching themselves here, there is no coach at Swallows......good for tomorrows game.

Poem from Mathe

When I first saw you Bobby Mbhebheni, you took my breath away in prison.
When you first talked to me about Mbombela saga, I couldn't think but only watch your ass.
When you asked me out, I couldn't respond.
When you touched me with your soft rising ass, I got shivers all through my body n spear
And when we first kissed in front of all in-mates, I floated away in my dreams.

How dare you leave me Khosi for life Mathe
