"I know that I'm going to play at Wits and if you go to a 'big team' you are not going to play there," Isaacs tells KickOff.com.
"If you play one or two bad games in a 'big team' then you are going to be out for the rest of the season.
"However here at Wits you can have one bad game you can still came back and perform, and that's why I came here so that I could work my way up with a small team."
Isaacs was linked with moves to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns at one stage, but says sitting on the bench would have damaged his career.
"I feel that Johannesburg is more like Europe. But I can't say that I will get into the Bafana Bafana team yet, first I need to get in the first XI at Wits, then from there we'll see," the 25-year-old concludes.
