New Black Leopards forward Brian Amidu has cleared the confusion regarding his contract with the Limpopo side.
Word doing the rounds is that the striker is on loan at Leopards from Kaizer Chiefs, but Amidu has set the record straight in an interview with KickOff.com.
“I’m not on loan at Leopards, because I have signed a three-year deal with them,” he tells KickOff.com.
“Bobby Motaung initially wanted me to go on loan, but Leopards wanted to do a permanent deal so in the end Bobby agreed. So I’m not a Chiefs player anymore,” he adds.
The 21-year-old scored on debut when Lidoda Duvha beat Bloemfontein Celtic 3-2 in Polokwane over the past weekend.
