Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Gert Schalkwyk is now free to join a team of his choice, after being handed his clearance by Santos.
Schalkwyk recently told KickOff.com that he was struggling to get his clearance and said he was owed two months' salary by the People's Team.
The midfielder threatened to take the Cape Town-based club to the PSL DC if they failed to provide him with his papers.
However, Schalkwyk says he is now focussed on seeking a club to play for next season.
"It has been frustrating but I am happy everything is now sorted out with Santos. The club has finally handed me my clearance, and I am back home in Klerksdorp and training on my own.
"I am ready to listen to offers, but only from the PSL clubs," he says.
