Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie could get a first run-out in a Malmo shirt tonight – against Lazio in Rome.

The Swedes are in Italy for a friendly against the Serie A giants, who finished fourth in the League last season. Lazio’s campaign kicks off on August 26.

Malmo are in the middle of their domestic season, but with no League action in Sweden this weekend owing to internationals played in midweek, they have taken the opportunity to travel to the Italian capital.

Rantie joined Malmo on a 17-month loan last week after Orlando Pirates made an unsuccessful bid for his services from Swedish lower-league side Hasselholm.

The 21-year-old scored seven goals for the Premiership champions while on loan last season and his partnership with Benni McCarthy was a key factor in the closing weeks of the season.

Rantie also scored his first Bafana goal in a 3-0 win over Gabon in June.

In all fairness, Rantie is a promising talent. If he gets his tactical awareness right, he will be in Europe for a very long time.

Since, he's not at GAYFAIR, his career will blossom.

Makwera, Khos'lam truth hurts. I'm also happy he left the farm. He was gonna be caught up in web of age cheating(90 % of the squad), jewelry theft(Jali & Mabena),gun theft( Dr Maffia), bullying( Caleb Moeletsi aka Benny McCarthy), gum diseases(Moeneeb,Ace,Phungwayo,Myeni etc.

Rantjie was probably praying day and night that his deal to Pierats fail, he regreted the move there and was exposed to a mixture of a circus and lack of ethics i.e. he had to witness Mabena aka "Blowjob" doing what he does best, had to share a room with the Condom, summoned before the deputy chairman, Betty Mcfetta, had to listen to lekgcothi... and alas, his most traumatic experience was being an interpreter betwen Lillian and Sekolela... his prayers were answered!

You see what i mean, how can Kenny Chabedi comapre this pure soul to that axe wielding monster..Mr Chabedi i suggest you apologize for comparing a dove with a mamba. As Dooba has alluded, not only Legs of Thunder hacked people down with his axe on a daily basis, but he like helping himself to other people's cars without authorization.Some are still going to therapy because of Legs of Thunder, and i believe all that he learned at Mayfarm.
