Ertugral: Ntuli will be a star

Golden Arrows coach predict good things for Bongi Ntuli

Golden Arrows coach Muhsin Ertugral has predicted a bright future for young striker Bongi Ntuli.

Ntuli was one of the standout players during Arrows’ 2-1 League defeat to Orlando Pirates over the weekend, giving Siyabonga Sangweni a torrid time and capping his performance with a fine goal.

“I brought the youngster into the first team towards the end of last season and gave him his first professional contract in the PSL,” Ertugral tells KickOff.com.

“He is something special. He is strong and he has pace. He has all the attributes needed to become a good striker. We still have to work on some aspects of his game like stamina; as you saw against Pirates he could not finish the game.”

Ertugral is confident that Arrows can bounce back from the defeat against Pirates, especially given the return of some big-name players.

“We had a few players out against Pirates like [Tamsanqa] Gabuza and [Dillon] Sheppard due to suspension, but most players should be available for the next game [against University of Pretoria].

I agree with Ertugral. The boy is very talent. Holding his own against Sangweni is pure genius.

Everyone who scores a rebound against the DTC, is perceived to be a star in the making. Mr. Ba.lls last year scored 4 against confused Leorpads and was called the next big thing at Thiefs. Last week Mr. Parcow scored 4 against the confused Beshu laba kone suddenly Thiefs is said to be having best strikers whereas the week before when the were given 4 by 4 by iZikhothane the cries from confused and stupid Gays Thiefs bloggers where to say Jesicalikhekhe should look for strikers. Im a pirate fan and I must admit that this boy did show glimpses of brilliance on Friday. Are we singing his praises because he matched up against the country's best defender?? However only time will tell.

I wonder how many goals should have scored if he was playing against de weakest lazy partner (Mathoho and Gould) may be FOUR.

Good player indeed.

I am disappointed with Ertugal for going to the media and praising this boy....a coach of his calibre should know that by so doing he is putting unnecessary pressure on this young player.....He should motivate and mentor this talented young man outside the media.....The PSL is a BIG league, scoring that goal against Pirates should be a motivation for this player not a sign of success....what will happen if he does not score in the next ten games?.....is Ertugal going to come back and tell the media why the boy is not scoring?

Ya this boy gave Madala Sangweni some problems. Unfortunately he plays for Pirates development team, so he is the next star for Pirates.
