Usuthu were beaten 6-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium by a ruthless Amakhosi outfit, with Bernard Parker scoring four goals.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Kapini says the players let themselves and their fans down.
“It wasn’t such bad performance; we just conceded easy goals,” he says. “Sometimes you can play well but not score goals, or sometimes play well and concede goals.
“I think we let ourselves down as a team. After conceding the first goal we didn’t motivate ourselves; we let our heads drop. I think Chiefs capitalised on that to score the six goals.”
The Zimbabwean international promised AmaZulu’s fans that they will bounce back immediately, starting with their game against Maritzburg United next week.
“It was an embarrassing defeat and we want to apologise to our fans. We just have to keep our heads high and try to bounce back in our next game,” Kapini says.

I still think Amazulu needs to make a detail rich official apology to their fans for losing to a confused FOUR NATIONS team.
