Bafana to play Mozambique

Bafana Bafana to play neighbours Mozambique.

The South African Football Association has reportedly set up a friendly for Bafana Bafana with neighbours Mozambique.

New coach Gordon Igesund's first match will be against Brazil on September 7 in Sao Paulo, while the 'Mambas' will play Bafana on September 11 in Nelspruit.

South Africa will then face Poland on October 12 and the reigning African champions Zambia are expected in town for the Nelson Mandela Challenge clash on November 14.

Bafana are expected to play eight international friendly matches in all before hosting the Africa Cup of Nations early next year.

Safa CEO Robin Peterson couldn't be reached for comment.

How I wish we could play a much tougher opponent....with all due respect to Mozambique....It will be interesting to see who gets to be selected for Bafana Bafana......there is a lot players that are doing well lately.

The Phefeni Boy: What do u need a tougher opponent for, if u cant beat weaker opponents.

Mozambique is stronger than BB in actual fact. Please dont elevate Chiefs tendencies to the national team.

A good set of friendlies set up ahead. I think Gordon will handle these games with ease; provided no Zebras are selected without merit.

Overall, I'm not expecting a win against Brazil, but with Gordon around, I know the next few matches it will be all systems go.

Mc cathy must be called to order. I'm tired of seeing him always challenging other players for a fight. Phela playing overseas does not imply that he is a good fighter. Or is it dushis tendencies. I just pray and wish he do the same to me in the streets ,ill just concentrate on punching that bag his carrying on the waist

His own team can't even called to order...they can't tell him to loose weight, they are so scared of him he even tells the coach who needs to be substituted while he is busy walking on the field...that FAT man is a waste of time....He is busy destroying Myeni's career together with his colored crew.

We don't want that Fat man anywhere near the the national team...he will not add any value...he had his time......we don't need him to destroy Myeni's career in the national team....he can continue to do it in his team.
Like really... a player in that shape for the national team...the man is so unfit he literary start jogging just after only 20 min into the game. ....He must remember one thing "he is the fattest players in the PSL"

It does not add up really. He(domkat) is playing week in week out while myeni , I mean to say meyiwa( eeish le bona they look identical)warming the bench without complain. But he(domkat) don't want to warm the bench at national level. Aaaag this Pirates colored tendencies
