SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt wasn't happy with his team's performance against Ajax Cape Town

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt wasn't happy with his team's performance in their 1-1 draw with Ajax Cape Town on Friday night at Cape Town Stadium.

Sibusiso Zuma opened the scoring for United and Terror Fanteni got the Ajax equaliser late in the game.

Hunt believes they were lucky to get a point and feels that his side didn't play good football.

"I thought we played poorly, I didn't think it was a good game of football. We really struggled with the conditions, we trained well and we get here and the ball is all over the show.

"We struggled and couldn't get hold of the ball and we certainly were second best. We are fortunate to get a point," he adds.

However Ajax coach Maarten Stekelenberg was pleased with his side’s performance considering they had to come from behind to get a point.

"It’s always good to get a point in your first game. When you are 1-0 down and you get a late goal, you are happy with a point. Overall we are a little disappointed, it’s our first game at home, we wanted to win and collect the three points," he says.

Ajax will now have a break for a week while SuperSport face Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-final next Sunday.

I feel for you Mr Hunt but wait until your next game against a certain team, i am sure you are going to spend the whole week preparing your team for your game against that particular team but you know what? bona they ain't worried about preparing for the game against your team instead they will spend the whole week queing for Ice & Sugars and Drink O Pops from Santa Claus Njenje because Jacob Zuma's father in law has already sorted that 1 with the middle man...
