Allie would have considered options

Nazeer Allie says he would have considered SuperSport United move

Nazeer Allie has admitted that he would have considered the option to join SuperSport United or Bidvest Wits should Ajax Cape Town have allowed him to.

The interest in Ajax’s defender soon became public when Urban Warriors CEO George Comitis confirmed that he had turned down two mega offers for the club’s youth product.

“Obviously I never knew about it,” Allie tells KickOff.com.

“I saw it first on Kick Off’s website, about SuperSport, and only afterwards did I find out about the whole thing. I didn’t know what was going to happen.”

The possibility of the transfer was quickly shut down by the Ikamva outfit, but Allie admits he may have considered his options if given the option.

“For me I still have a two more years left on my contract, so it isn’t up to them [SuperSport], it is up to the Ajax guys. I still have a contract to honour and I will do that,” the defender says.

“Ja, I would have [considered the option] and I probably would have made my mind up if it suits me or not.”
